60 minutes You will need to read the texts and answer the questions. Task types:

matching headlines with texts
There are usually 4–5 texts.
30 minutes You listen to recordings (conversations, announcements, short texts) and answer questions. The recordings are usually played twice. Task types:

fill in the blanks
45 minutes Grammar knowledge is tested. Task types:
select the correct form
insert the word in the correct form
complete the sentence
45 minutes You need to write a short text (about 80–130 words). Typically, one of the following formats:
email
forum post
message / letter

describe a situation
About 15 minutes Conversation with the examiner. 3 tasks:
Introduction — simple questions about yourself
Role-play — you need to discuss something (for example, arranging a meeting)
Picture description — describe the photo and answer the questions.
Each part accounts for 20%. To pass:
a minimum of 50% on each section
and 60% overall
The entire written section lasts approximately 3 hours.
The tasks aren't very difficult, but reading them takes a lot of time.
In the writing section, the most important things are structure and clarity, not perfect grammar.
In the speaking exam, they look for the ability to speak, not perfection.
